Client had a custom-built site that we had to migrate over to WordPress, a solution we recommended after conducting a project discovery with the client in which a site audit was also conducted. The site audit allowed us insight into the site infrastructure and allowed us to review code to ensure a smoother transition. The old site, The Creative Me, or Draw A Prayer (previously known) was often unstable. AZENCE helped to migrate the site to WordPress, we also moved the client’s site to a new host that managed WordPress sites more effectively. We also upgraded the site’s Draw Program (canvas application) that was built in Flash to one that was responsive. Site development was broken up in stages and milestones as we had to build a robust backend admin section for image management, membership and community platform similar to some of Facebook’s community features with the BuddyPress plugin.
